Dear Mother

Your love shines so bright like the morning sun
If you care to know it even shines brighter than the moon in darkness
Because your love knows no boundaries
Even before you had children of your own, you were already a mother to the unloved one and the motherless
I honour you today.

Your love is like that of a candle because  it burns and melts itself so by it others may see the light
Have I ever told you that your sacrifices made me the responsible man I am today
Have I told you that I am a virtuous crown of a woman to my husband because of your training
I can never trade you for anything in the world
Not for silver and gold

Daddy still watches you in admiration while you sleep at night
He can't  hide his admiration for your beautiful womanhood
You  have  indeed made a telling impression on him
Your manner of speech
Your manner of care and dedication to him
Even in his dull moments you are still his muse
In his eyes and ours, you are the favour we sought from God
You are adored and loved
If you should ever doubt how much your family loves you
Just look at our proud faces that stare at you as you age
May God bless you above everything that is known in this world.

An Attitude Of Gratitude

To have an attitude of gratitude is the greatest virtue anyone  can have. Because it shows that you are content with the little you have and a happy expectation of all you are yet to have and enjoy in life. If you really want your life to change, then you need to add the habit of  gratitude. I realised that our generation of today take the power of being grateful for granted. Because we are a generation that is burnt on having more and more everyday, we quickly lose sight of the important things we already have that is keeping our life afloat at this moment.
