Upon all our degrees and advancements in technology, I discovered they didn't teach us the most important things in life in school.
They didn't teach us how to face or cope with problems when we have one
They didn't teach us the joyful spirit in sharing and giving to a needy brother or sister
They didn't teach us how to be honest and forthright in a world full of lies
They didn't teach us the value in self respect, honour and dignity
They didn't teach us Integrity. Having the will or desire to do the right thing consistently even when no one is watching you.
And they didn't teach us the importance of human connection. The feeling of understanding when your brother or sister is in pain, needs care or love in his or her bad moments.
Let's rethink the state of our education system and our schools.
