Stop Complaining and Whinning About Your Problems

Lord, do you see  the troubles I'm going through right now??, It's beyond me. I can't bear it anymore.
Lord, do you see the husband you gave me??? He is so immature and dumb. I have to do everything for him as a woman.
He cannot take decisions even about his own life. I cannot marry him anymore. I'm tired of marrying a bum of a man like him. I asked you for a responsible man to marry not this good for nothing piece of bum. Because of him, I cry my eyes out every night. What did I do wrong??? Answer me lord, answer me......

Why do I  have this woman at all in my life?? She quarrels with me everyday about  little  things.... She drains my energy with unnecessary fights at night and insults me as a man from head to toe.  Why me lord, why me???
I can't marry her anymore...I'm leaving her.

Many of us reading this text  right now especially the married folks can relate to this. We often find ourselves in the habit of magnifying our problems much bigger than they ought to be or seem to be. For the single ones like me,  our complaints can range from my co-workers don't like me, so I'm going to quit my job, I'm not being paid well for all hardwork,  I'm tired of being single for so long, I have to marry this year by all means possible,  to my life is not fulfilling right now... I need to do something about my life and act fast so I can get the life that other friends of mine have.

We complain and whine a lot about everything. Some complaint to almost everyone they meet or see the least problems that happen in their life. They try to look for sympathy from other people, who might be going through similar or worst problems compared to theirs.

Here's the hard truth people, not everyone you complain to cares about your personal problems or challenges. Can I shock you some more...???
Not everyone you complain to about your problems wants you to find a lasting solution  to your problems. Some are really happy you're in this mess if you care to know...  Some come to you and pretend to sympathize with you so they can go and tell and gossip to everyone who knows you behind your back.

It is time for you to wise up and apply some maturity to the way you handle your problems and circumstances. This is not to say that there are no good people around who genuinely want to see you climb out happily from your problems. There are. Believe me. But I'm only making us all aware about the dangers of being too naive and ignorant to believe that everyone who smiles and laughs with us truly loves us.  Well, there goes your spoiler alert, not everyone is your friend and likewise not everyone is your enemy. I have said this a billion times in many of my articles, and I'm saying it here again.

Like I said at the beginning, some people have much bigger problems to deal with than what you are facing right now. You will think your problems should quickly reach the throne gates of heaven, to the sight of God, so he can act fast on your behalf,  for your problems to disappear at the snap of your fingers.

Sorry to bust your fantasy bubble, but God does not work like that.
I believe there are some Christians like myself, reading this  too and wishing for God to do this fantasy problem- solving magic for them. But he's not going to.

And here's why God is not going to take away all your problems most of the time we petition him.
First,  he wants our most difficult problems to teach us a lesson, to make us mentally strong and appreciate life in a more different way than we used to see it before.

Secondly, he ensures  that the difficult moments in our lives do not come to destroy us, but to help us realise our hidden potential and power.

God is not like your Alladin genie in a bottle, who you can call or  bring out  immediately to your aid to perform some magic for you anytime you are in  trouble. And when you have no problems, he stays locked up in the bottle until another trouble comes up again.

This is what God wishes for us to learn sometimes;     Any problem or situation that is annoying you too much every time,  is teaching you patience. Stop complaining.

Anyone who maltreats you and causes you pain with his or her actions is teaching you how to love yourself and others more.
So again, stop complaining.

If you focus on your problems, you will always have problems on your hands
But if you always see your problems as opportunities for solving difficult problems, you will always find many ways to be optimistic and positive in life.

Whenever you pray to God, ask for more strength and wisdom to deal with your problems.  Don't go to him crying for an exit door to run away from your problems..

Whenever you go telling people all your problems, tell it on a need-to-know basis if possible. Test them a few times if they will understand and help you out genuinely.

Shine your eyes  my friend.

Your Competition

Just remember, your competition isn't other people Your competition is; Your procrastination to getting important things done Your ego, that makes you think you are above everyone else Your unhealthy eating habits and health choices The knowledge you neglect because you think you know it all or because you think others don't have an opinion on a matter because they are not intelligent The negative mindset and behaviour you're nurturing because because you think you are not worth something Your lack of Creativity. Failing to explore new ideas or try new things because you think you will fail or not succeed again. You're not in competition with anyone but yourself. How To Treat A Man

Men are often stereotyped for being weak or soft if they show their love or affection openly. But the truth is, men also need love too. Men need tender loving care and affection and attention just like women do. Caring, showing love and affection and giving attention is not only about women. It is about men too. Men also need early morning calls, just for their women to tell them sweet words too, encouraging words to carry them through the tough day they are already having or that sweet short text message you can send him just for him to know you love him and you are thinking about him. This is the reason why most married men  turn their attention to slay queens and side chicks looking for this kind of treatment. And not necessarily for sex. So from now on, ladies, start also calling your men and husbands, tell him sweet words, encourage him and inspire him,  learn to compliment him on his good looks, what he wears and appreciate with much admiration what he does for you....

The Blueprint To Racism

In this moment of a very dark chapter for all the black race across the globe, I began wondering what the death of the late American, George Floyd really meant to the Black African in America and in Africa. While thinking about this, my mind went back to an audio I have of a college graduation speech  that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gave in Detroit in the mid 1950s. In his speech, the first thing, he asked the students and their professors (I imagine black and white people seated) was all my dear black people gathered here, I am asking you today ..... what is your blueprint at this moment? Nobody answered or said a word. He went on to tell the graduating students to work very hard to find their purpose in life. And not to play second fiddle  to anybody whether white or black, hispanic or asian. Because every human being here on earth is special and created uniquely by God, each of us giving a special talent or gift. He was giving this speech, following a similar incident...
