Mercy On The Lands Of The Earth


My heart was glad when I saw 50 more doctors sent from Cuba  to help the Italian doctors fighting this scary virus on my Facebook timeline yesterday.

The world has come together as one to fight along side each other, from one country to another so we can win the war against this evil virus.

The Italian doctors and the Italian people  are doing all that they possibly can to fight off COVID 19 but it seems the more they try, the more the virus continues to spread throughout their country, killing its people.

The saddest thing is these Italian doctors who are at the forefront in fighting this evil virus are the same people infecting their already sick patients according to reports.

This is not a deliberate act on their part. But it's because they are running out of protective gears (the face masks and other medical supplies) everyday. The affected ones have been instructed to go into self isolation and receive medical treatment until a time that the supportive medications they will be given will be able to make them better.

Why are the affected Italian doctors being given supportive medications??? Because there is not a complete cure for this virus yet.

Thinking how scientists and researchers can find a cure got me thinking about God.  The owner of the universe and the master architect of this beautiful planet called Earth.

If we all over the world can go to him with a pure heart and in one voice, he will hear us all.

I know many people don't believe in God, nor even his existence and these spiritual things.  But if you breathe everyday, see the sun, the moon and the stars, do not think they came here on earth all by themselves.

Someone created them and gifted it to us for our benefit.

And I believe he will again gift us a cure to fight this virus again if we seek his face in prayer with a pure heart, remorseful of our sins and most importantly, together as one people all over the world now that we are all stuck in our rooms.
I ask that we pray for our doctors, scientists and researchers and our presidents and world leaders to seek  his face and his help too. And not to rely on their knowledge only.

This time, when every human knowledge and skill is desperately looking for a cure and a solution,.  i can only ask that we look in his direction for answers.

To have an attitude of gratitude is the greatest virtue anyone  can have. Because it shows that you are content with the little you have and a happy expectation of all you are yet to have and enjoy in life. If you really want your life to change, then you need to add the habit of  gratitude. I realised that our generation of today take the power of being grateful for granted.
