Do Unto Others

Whatever things you love to be done to you or you expect from others, do same for others also. If you expect people to be honest with you about things and not lie to you for example, be honest with them too.
If you wish you had more.... wish others have more too.
Everybody  expects to be treated well  these days, but we don't want to treat other people just the way we wish to be treated.
How ironic!!!!
We  are always looking forward or expect to be loved but we don't show love to one another or support one another with genuine love. How can we then demand from others what we never give them in return. We complain of the world being evil and unforgiving, when we are the same people who create that world.
We disappoint people who put their trust and confidence in us, we hate the very people who tell us the truth all the time. We don't even want to get closer to people who are nothing like us, people we feel are below us.
We stab people who help us in the back and we do not want to forgive others, and yet we expect to be forgiven when we do wrong

How can we expect the world and our society to be any better if we treat ourselves this way. It is a big shame on us that we have expectations for good things when we ourselves don't meet the same expectations.
Yes, indeed,  life is hard and can be difficult sometimes. But the little good we do for our close family members, friends and strangers can go a long way to make their lives a little bit better. No matter how small.
Let's be mindful that we get the same measure of reward we give others, good or bad.

There is no way we are going to get any reward of good if we have not invested any good in others. And let's not act surprised either if we get bad rewards in return in our lives because we treated others badly.
The law of cause and effect. Don't forget.
Always remember this, what is good goose is good for the gander too.

How Failure Breeds Great Achievers

I get asked by many people a lot of times... Why do you always like writing motivational stories and messages to inspire others. What inspires you, and what do you get from doing that  every morning anyway? My answer has always been simple. To prevent people  especially you from giving up in life when you face the least form of failure. My greatest wish is to provide hope, faith and reason for you not to give up in life. I would like you to think of me   as your symbol of Inspiration for each day. Most people, ironically, think  that people who always inspire, motivate and encourage other people don't have problems,  they think they have a cozy and smooth life, that's why they are able to encourage people. But believe me, that's not true. On the contrary, those kind of people like me, are the kinds of people facing all sorts of problems, challenges and difficulties in life. The trick here, however is, I have chosen to look at  my failures, challe...

Everything Is Temporary

Corona Virus has proved that everything around us is so temporary. Things that our lives revolved around...work, gym, malls, movies and other social activities have all gone for a toss. These were things which used to occupy our time and attention virtually everyday, so much that we neglected what was most important to us in the first place. We are learning to live without them now, as our only option these days, is to stay indoors to keep ourselves safe. It is teaching us all  one thing,  that in the end, our home and families really matter. They are our point of safety in difficult times like these. So should this crisis come to an end, which will be very soon,   do know where your priorities lie henceforth. It is not in your work, or your insatiable ambitions. It is with your family. An Attitude Of Gratitude

To have an attitude of gratitude is the greatest virtue anyone  can have. Because it shows that you are content with the little you have and a happy expectation of all you are yet to have and enjoy in life. If you really want your life to change, then you need to add the habit of  gratitude. I realised that our generation of today take the power of being grateful for granted. Because we are a generation that is burnt on having more and more everyday, we quickly lose sight of the important things we already have that is keeping our life afloat at this moment. It's almost as if each one of us is in competition with one another when it's not supposed to be so. I was born with a disability from birth, an advanced form of poliomyelitis. I had twisted hands and legs as a child so I was only able to crawl on the floor. That was my only way to move. I hated that and myself so much because I wanted to walk just like everybody else. I was consumed so much by hate and ingratitude ...
