Be The Best Version of Yourself


Are you always the kind of person who expects people to encourage you before you do something great by yourself?

Many of us today are very sensitive to whatever people say to us. If people say something negative to us, we usually tend to overthink them and finally get to accept it's true because we feel inferior and powerless even in ourselves. Most times, when we start something great, be it a business, a project or a decision to live a positive life,  people with small minds often very close to us usually will be the first people to tell us....
Oh, this won't work, stop it before you embarrass yourself.... or where did you get the confidence to believe you can do or achieve something this big..?? I'm telling you, this is not going to work. How many people have you seen do this here and succeed??
Don't try to overdo yourself, stop thinking of yourself a genuis, stop thinking of these big ideas and plans... you don't have the balls to make something like this happen. Stop making a fool of yourself. I love you too much to tell you this, stop thinking this big dreams, none of this will work for you. Just stop it!!!
I'm very sure like me, you have had a lot of people tell you negative things like these and the shocking part is, these people are often very close to you like your best friend, family members, people you love and respect. And so it sinks in your head and mind fast like a poison and makes you believe that yeah, they are right,  maybe I can't do this, I have got no experience to try on something big like this. I should forget about this once and for all.

Can I be honest with you??? So here's the thing, maybe nobody is going to tell you this, but not everybody close to you is your friend, and likewise not everyone who criticises you harshly is your enemy.
Understand this universal principle of human behaviour and you will live the best version of your life ever.  Live your life according to your own rules and choices. Live your good life on your own terms and learn from your own mistakes and failures. You gain a lot of experience and wisdom to teach others by understanding how your own life works.
Many of us had big dreams, goals and aspirations we wanted to achieve, but we stopped because we made other people tell us it won't work and we believed it. Now, all we living is a life of regrets and wishing for more time and chances.
Here's the  bad news, they are not going to come to you and me again. They are gone forever. Never to return.
Better still, most of us are still dreaming big right now, we still see these visions and dreams we want to achieve, but we are afraid to act on them or start working on them, because we are afraid of what people are going to say or afraid of what others might think.
Let me tell you this, here and now, you have your own self to blame if you let others opinions define you or stop you from achieving your dreams.
Don't be a coward this year, 2020. Dare to dream bodly and work fearlessly on them. You may fail a few more times but that's ok get up and try again. Try, try try try until you succeed. They say cowards die many times before their actual death. Why?? Because they are always afraid to try.
Invest well in good friends and good people with positive energy and optimism, stick by family members and friends who believe in your dreams and will invest in you.
The ones who will  criticise you constructively but will also be patient enough to drive you and your dreams back on track.
I hope these words speak to somebody.
I repeat, be the best version of yourself.

Rihanna releases a lip gloss, people buy it.  Michael Jordan puts out new trainers in stores, people flock to these stores to buy them instantly. Dr. Dre  has new headphones, people buy it. On June 26 2015, the US supreme court struck down all state laws banning same - sex marriages and legalised in all the fifty states across America. I remember that day, pretty well watching CNN seeing then host taking the live feed Anderson Cooper in a jubilant mood. Pictures from the supreme court also painted the same picture. Men kissing men passionately, and women kissing women passionately and locking tongues as well. All this outside the US supreme court for the whole country and the whole world to see that the United States of America, the greatest free country on earth is now fully endorsing gay marriage and approving LGBT rights.
